Welcome to my homepage. As you all know, my name is Josh but some people
call me Joshua. Just not many. Perry and Brian said that I should update my
site. So... I'm updating my site. For those of you who don't know me, I'm
Josh. On IRC, I'm known as Kirkoff. I hang out
on starlink, which happens to be the
best IRC server on earth. I hang out in the best darn
#chatzone in existance. If only the
site were ever up.
That line break there is just 'cause I'm too lazy to make an archive page right now. I had enought pain and tramma getting my scripts re-written tonight. Well, let's see, here is what's up. I'm going to Prom Tomorrow (5/26) which means that by the time you read this it'll be over. Any how, I got my Tux today which looks cool. I prefer the cumberbund to a vest myself. It's a two button deal which is pretty cool looking. My last day of attendance is this thursday and I graduate on June 7th. I can't believe that my Public School career is comming to an end. It's pretty wild. Now for some fun internet stuff I've found. First up is this neat URL with an interesting page: http://www.holycrapitslate.com I think that's a great URL. It's so funny. The logo at the top looks neat too. It somehow reminds me of my Lava Lite brand motion lamp (LavaLamp). Sorry, that's what they say I have to do. While I'm talking about LavaLamps, you should check out lavarand which is a cool idea. Perhaps I should implement something simular with fish and lavalamps... Jeff says I need to spell check my page, well too bad. I'll bet Webster might help with that... Yes, perhaps Webster can help me with that. I was there today in fact. After having a conversation with my friend Dan, I decided that I wanted to see the dictionary definition of Racketeering (no, that's probably not spelled right.) I went to said site and looked it up. Right after the definition, it said "Click here to see the top 10 sites for Racketeering." All I can say is that CGI can sometimes be funny. Speaking of funny, I went to the Detroit Zoo on thursday. That is my last field trip of my life! We were by the kangaroos and we looked over and Chris said "Those kangaroos are mating!" Indeed they were... Then this kid came by saying something along the lines of "Are you sure those kangaroos are mating?" Another kid, around 11 or so, replied "Yeah, I can tell they're mating." The word choice there just kills me. Oh, and I payed $3.15 for cheeseburger. It was ok, but not great. It was worth maybe $1.50 or so, but I suppose that's not bad for attraction inflation. Look at the revised Josh and Ryland's fight Section, It's been getting some work. See this is the thing... I have to generate content. I don't know what to put up here. I really don't have much that's interesting to say. Maybe I shall feature the game Egyptian Ratscrew as I did once. Perhaps I should feature President or as some people call it (cencored). I've really stopped updating the programs section because we haven't done any programs in AP Computer Science class for a long while. We have been prepareing for the AP test which was on May 8th. I think I did pretty well on it... Since we haven't been doing any programs, I wrote a nice little program which is a fnorder. For those of you who are not fermilliar with the concept, a fnorder takes a bunch of words that are organized by part of speach and puts them in to sentences that make sense... sort of. Remember what mom said before you left the house, Racer X (Secretly Rex Racer) and Scott Thompson went to The Outer Banks for a silly car. Fun, huh? Now, I think my next program will be a black jack program. Black Jack is a fairly simply game to implement. The neat thing is that I am making a deck class. Then again saying that here on this forum because the millions --err I mean many --umm I mean several --alright alright very very few people who read this may find out that I am really a slacker, if I don't do it. I hope one of my English teachers doesn't read that because that is one run on sentence. You know, I wish I had something useful to say. Well atleast my ramblings may be entertaining. I think I'm going to see what I can do about that guest book thing. OK, I'll do more actual updates in a while. See ya later. Woah, Some people I don't know have commented on my guest book. Sorry if it's too tame for you, but this isn't meant to be read. It's just where I can go and neglect to put updates. Oh, and I decided to change the colors on my site for fun. I think that making the page brighter would be great just as a change of format. It's looked basicly like this since 10th grade. Now to stop screwing around and to really do it, I have to figure out what colors look good now... Ok, I think I like the colors as they are now. Next step is to see if I can ever get the guest book working. I think it may just have to update on a cron job or something, I'm not sure. I did add a link for those who would like to read my guest book without sighning. I think that's about it for now (as I've said so many times before.) Have fun everyone. Ok, it's a day later and I'm still fooling with my formatting. I think it looks better than it did even yesterday. Now I have to pose the question. What's you oppinion on the adds? Are the pop-ups too anoying? There are some other options that I COULD take... I could make a smaller banner at the top and a "microbanner" at the bottom. I can make the ads in frames which REALLY sucks. I can move it back up to the top. I can keep the pop ups. Also if you would like to donate $5/month I will remove the ads! Any additional money sent it will be put in my fravorite organization. (Money for upgrading my computer)   And remember: Woodstock landed on Snoopy's shoulder and said Richard M. Stallman had the pirate ship. Fnord. |
